Suppose the Americas had been left alone for a hundred more years as the Native Americans ert they wish it had. The Aztec would have almost certainly solidified their hold on most of Mexico and conquest by anyone would have been an entirely different matter than was the case with Cortez and Pizarro, though still inevitable.
