Is he a friend or more than a friend?

I met this guy on facebook like a month ago, after 2 weeks he asked me out... we went to park and walked around like for 1hr 30mins.. he had positive body language and he was a gentleman.. then when i came home, he was on facebook again and he started to talk to me first.. after like 2 days i asked him if i can borrow his notes cuz i was going to have a test soon from chemistry and he said that he can tutor me too. so we met in starbucks, he tutored me and he also borrowed me his book.. then like a day or two he told me about his past girlfriends and how he broke up with them.. he never said anything about current relationships.. also he asked me indirectly if i have a bf and i said no.. but before asking me that question, he asked me to come to the lake where he and his friends will be chilling.. but then the plans got cancels cuz not a lot of ppl came.. so he said maybe next time.. now, u may say that all the signs are that he likes me, but he only gives me handshakes and nothing more yet... no hugs at least... so i am wondering is he a friend or more?
